Why do I become a psychotherapist?

Growing up, I’ve always had a passion for understanding people and listening to their life stories. Friends often praised me for being a good listener when they needed someone to talk to.

My journey of faith further humbled me, revealing the depth of people's struggles and inspiring me to become a therapist. I am committed to walking alongside my clients, one step at a time, as I continue to equip myself for this meaningful role.

My Journey as a therapist...

Throughout my practice and training, I have gained valuable insights reflecting on my personal life

For instance, I realized how my parents' unavailability during my childhood led to my fear of abandonment and loss in adult relationships. More recently, being a wife has deepened my understanding of myself and what I desire in an intimate relationship.

More about me :)

Outside of work, you'll often find me exploring with my two dogs (aren’t they so lovely?), gardening, or decorating my home.

I also enjoy being active in my church community, as I strongly believe we are wired for connection, a beautiful gift given to us. We all need someone—friends, family, neighbours, etc.—to share life's ups and downs with.
